Capillary Dynamics Analysis of Millimetric Tubes for Anti‐Slip Surfaces: A Phase‐Field Based Finite Element Approach and Experimental Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
Phase‐field method based numerical modelling of the capillary rise in millimeter‐sized tubes, aiming for anti‐slip applications. The experimental validation was performed through capillary assays in polyethylene oxide (PEO) bulk modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) channels.

Effects of Replacing Fish Meal With Plant Protein Sources in Diets With or Without Jack Mackerel Meal Inclusion on Growth Performance of Red Sea Bream (Pagrus major)

open access: yesAquaculture Nutrition, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Due to stagnant production and high cost of fish meal (FM), feed nutritionists are seeking reliable and affordable alternatives. However, low‐FM diets often result in poor palatability, reduced feed consumption (FC), and impaired growth. This study investigates the effects of replacing FM with plant proteins in diets with or without jack mackerel meal (

Dietary Supplementation of Dormival and Lemon Oil to Improve Growth, Immune Functions, and Health Status of Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, Juveniles Cultured Under High Density

open access: yesAquaculture Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Intensive aquaculture often exposes fish to crowding stress, impairing growth performance and overall physiological stability. This study evaluated the effects of dietary Dormival (D) and lemon oil (LO) supplementation on the growth performance, antioxidant status, and immune response of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) juveniles reared under high ...

Multimodal Monitoring in Eclamptic Intracerebral Hemorrhage Complicated by Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome (RCVS): A Case Report

open access: yesCase Reports in Critical Care, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Background Eclampsia is a rare but severe obstetric condition associated with maternal morbidity and mortality. Neurological complications are rare and often compounded by systemic involvement such as HELLP syndrome and coagulopathy. In this complex setting, multimodal neuromonitoring may support individualized management.

Effects of Germination on the Fatty Acid, Folate, and Mineral Levels in Quinoa

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025.
This study analyzed the change of the key nutrients in quinoa during its short‐term germination process. The results showed that germination significantly increases the content of folate, protein, and trace minerals, thereby maximizing its nutritional properties for promoting neural development.

Antimicrobial prescribing guidelines for horses in Australia

open access: yesAustralian Veterinary Journal, Volume 103, Issue 12, Page 781-889, December 2025.
The growing problem of antimicrobial resistance also affects equine veterinarians with increasing frequency. Antimicrobial stewardship and responsible prescribing are essential for a future in which effective antimicrobials are available, as it is unlikely that new antimicrobials will become available for use in horses.

Fouling in Emulsion Polymerization: Fundamentals and Methods of Investigation

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 142, Issue 43, November 15, 2025.
ABSTRACT The current understanding of fouling in emulsion polymerization is summarized from an engineering perspective and from a physical‐chemistry perspective. Emulsion polymerization in semibatch mode offers better control over the number of particles and side reactions than batch mode. Both reaction fouling and particulate fouling are observed, the
