Wide‐area damping control in renewable integrated power systems: A review on recent achievements and new challenges

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Economics, Volume 6, Issue 6, Page 341-358, December 2025.
Abstract Low‐frequency oscillations (LFOs) remain a major obstacle to maintaining stable dynamic performance in power systems with high levels of renewable energy integration. In particular, inter‐area LFOs have emerged as a critical concern in large, interconnected grids.

Ultranarrow polaritonic cavities formed by one‐dimensional junctions of two‐dimensional in‐plane heterostructures

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 14, Issue 27, Page 5417-5425, December 2025.
Abstract We propose two‐dimensional (2D) in‐plane heterostructures, composed of a 2D crystal adjoining a perfect electric conductor (PEC) plane, that enable ultranarrow polaritonic resonant cavities. Specifically, we theoretically investigate the interaction of 2D surface polaritons (2DSPs) with the junction between the 2D crystal and a PEC plane.

Feedback Node Aided Distributed Spoofing System for Global Navigation Satellite System Time Synchronisation Attack

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is widely recognised to be vulnerable to spoofing attacks. A sophisticated form of GNSS spoofing, termed distributed spoofing, transmits each spoofing signal through dedicated antennas.
