A Study on Antibacteria of Hydroxyapatite Filter
Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society, 2013A hydroxyapatite air filter was made with hydroxyapatite powder, water and chitosan solution. The structures of the sintered HAp samples were determined by MP-XRD. Hydroxyapatite has antibacteria properties against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli. The bacteria removal rate was 99.9%.

Exploring the Antibacteria Performance of Multicolor Ag, Au, and Cu Nanoclusters
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2019Integrating kinds of bactericides as one entirety shows prospect for improving antibacterial efficiency, thus a new type of nanoclusters based on bactericide-directed herein emerged as a combination for achieving a higher antibacterial effect. Specifically, an easily operated approach for preparing bacitracin-directed silver, gold, and copper ...

Antibacteria and Detoxification Function of Polystyrene/TiO2Nanocomposites
Journal of Dispersion Science and Technology, 2007The composites of TiO2 nanoparticles (anatase structure, average particle size 20–30 nm) as inorganic particle additive in the polystyrene (PS) were prepared by co‐rotating twin screw extruder. The structure and morphology of the composites were determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and x‐ray ...

Effects of annealing on antiwear and antibacteria behaviors of TaN–Cu nanocomposite thin films
Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A: Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films, 2008TaN–Cu nanocomposite films were deposited by reactive cosputtering on Si and tool steel substrates. The films were then annealed using rapid thermal annealing (RTA) at 400°C for 2, 4, and 8min, respectively, to induce the nucleation and growth of Cu particles in TaN matrix and on film surface.
