Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilm Dispersion by the Human Atrial Natriuretic Peptide
This work presents evidence that the human Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (hANP) hormone can represent a powerful agent to efficiently disperse established biofilms of Pseudomonas aeruginosa even at extremely low concentrations. hANP has high therapeutic potential on its own (no toxicity).
