Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy in FeRh Thin Films with Coexisting Magnetic Phases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reveals the evolution of perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in FeRh thin films during the antiferromagnetic‐ferromagnetic phase transition. Temperature‐dependent measurements and magnetic domain imaging demonstrate reorientation of magnetic moments from out‐of‐plane to in‐plane, driven by competition between magnetocrystalline anisotropy and ...

Order–Disorder Phase Stabilization by Pressure‐Induced Charge Transfer Enhances the Ferroelectric Photovoltaic Effect in Multiferroic BaFe4O7

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pressure‐driven charge transfer in multiferroic BaFe4O7 induces Fe valence disproportionation and structural distortion, drastically narrowing the bandgap and enhancing ferroelectric polarization. This synergistic optimization boosts photocurrent 2.5‐fold and is retained upon decompression, offering a promising strategy to overcome the ferroelectric ...

Electric‐Field Control of Low Damping Constant in Epitaxial Co2FeSi/LiNbO3 Multiferroic Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The development of multiferroic heterostructures with a half‐metallic property is one of the key technologies for electric‐field operatable magnonic devices. In this study, Co2FeSi/LiNbO3 multiferroic heterostructures with a low damping constant are experimentally developed and an electric‐field modulation of its magnetization dynamics is demonstrated.
