Patch Testing With 20% Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus/farinae (Chemotechnique) Antigen

American Journal of Contact Dermatitis, 2001
Patch testing with dust mite antigens might identify mite-sensitive individuals, particularly those with atopic dermatitis who can benefit from avoidance measures. Currently available dust mite allergens have not been well studied. To determine the proper dilution of 20% Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus/farinae mix antigen (Chemotechnique, Malmo, Sweden ...

Detection of B‐lymphocytes secreting antibodies toDermatophagoidesantigens

Clinical & Experimental Allergy, 1991
SummaryAn enzyme‐linked immunospot assay (ELI‐spot assay) has been established to count individual cells secreting antibodies toDermatophagoidesspp. allergens. Initial optimization of the assay was performed usingDer pI‐specific murine hybridoma cell lines.

IgG responses to antigens from Dermatophagoides farinae in healthy and atopic dogs

Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, 2005
In this study, we used a semi-quantitative electrophoresis and immunoblotting technique to characterise the IgG response to antigens from Dermatophagoides farinae in 20 healthy and 20 atopic dogs. Both groups mounted an IgG response to multiple antigens from the mite.

Detection and Quantitation of Dermatophagoides Antigens in House Dust by Immunochemical Techniques

Allergy, 1979
Rabbit antibodies against D. pteronyssinus whole culture extract were rendered specific to mite antigens by immunoabsorption with extract of human dander. Using the absorbed antibodies, an extract of a mite culture gave rise to 15 peaks in crossed immunoelectrophoresis and to a titer of 512 in counter‐immunoelectrophoresis. When applied to dust samples
