[Gel filtration analysis of the protein antigens of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus ticks].
Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1980Gel filtration analysis was used to study the antigenous composition and molecular weight of the culture extract from the ticks D. pteronyssinus. The highest allergenic and immunochemical activity was shown by elution fractions I and II taken together. Their activity exceeded that of the whole extract by 69%.

Micromites (genus Dermatophagoides) are the major source of allergens in house dust. Four homologous classes of major allergens have been isolated from extracts of D. pteronyssinus and D. farinae mites. According to current theories, all major mite allergens are proteins of gastrointestinal origin.

Extract from house dust mite (Dermatophagoides farinae) was treated with glutaraldehyde (GA) and examined for its allergenicity and immunogenicity. The allergenicity of glutaraldehyde-treated mite extract (GA-M) was decreased significantly when compared with untreated mite extract (UN-M) by skin test in mite allergic individuals. Immunogenicity of GA-M

To study the localization of specific allergen of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.Through optical microscope, the specific allergens of D. pteronyssinus were observed in paraffin sections using D. pteronyssinus-specific IgE antibodies from the patient sera. The digestive system was found occupying large parts of body cavity of D.
