Analysis, Synchronization, and Robotic Application of a Modified Hyperjerk Chaotic System

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this work, a novel hyperjerk system, with hyperbolic sine function as the only nonlinear term, is proposed, as a modification of a hyperjerk system proposed by Leutcho et al.

Chaotic Behaviors and Coexisting Attractors in a New Nonlinear Dissipative Parametric Chemical Oscillator

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
In this study, complex dynamics of Briggs–Rauscher reaction system is investigated analytically and numerically. First, the Briggs–Rauscher reaction system is reduced into a new nonlinear parametric oscillator.

A New Chaotic System with Only Nonhyperbolic Equilibrium Points: Dynamics and Its Engineering Application

open access: yesComplexity, 2022
In this work, we introduce a new non-Shilnikov chaotic system with an infinite number of nonhyperbolic equilibrium points. The proposed system does not have any linear term, and it is worth noting that the new system has one equilibrium point with triple

Antimonotonicity and multistability in a fractional order memristive chaotic oscillator [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal Special Topics, 2019

Coexistence of Multiple Points, Limit Cycles, and Strange Attractors in a Simple Autonomous Hyperjerk Circuit with Hyperbolic Sine Function

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this contribution, a new elegant hyperjerk system with three equilibria and hyperbolic sine nonlinearity is investigated. In contrast to other models of hyperjerk systems where either hidden or self-excited attractors are obtained, the case reported ...

Extreme Multistability and Antimonotonicity in a Shinriki Oscillator with Two Flux-Controlled Memristors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2021
This paper proposes a novel memristive chaotic circuit which originated from a Shinriki oscillator with two flux-controlled memristors of different polarities. This two-memristor-based Shinriki oscillator (TMSO) having a special plane equilibrium is prone to exhibiting the initial-dependent phenomenon of extreme multistability.

Antimonotonicity and maximal complexity in optically injected two-section lasers

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics, 2006
In this paper, we investigate some special dynamic characteristics of two-section semiconductor lasers subject to optical injection. Forward and reverse period-doubling cascades are presented in the parameter space of frequency detuning /spl omega/ and injection strength K, a phenomenon known as antimonotonicity.

Antimonotonicity, Crisis and Multiple Attractors in a Simple Memristive Circuit [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2017
In this work a memristive circuit consisting of a first-order memristive diode bridge is presented. The proposed circuit is the simplest memristive circuit containing the specific circuitry realization of the memristor to be so far presented in the literature.

Existence of an Equilibrium for Lower Semicontinuous Information Acquisition Functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We consider a two-period model in which a continuum of agents trade in a context of costly information acquisition and systematic heterogeneous expectations biases. Because of systematic biases agents are supposed not to learn from others' decisions.

The set of undominated imputations and the core: an axiomatic approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper provides an axiomatic framework to compare the D-core (the set of undominated imputations) and the core of a cooperative game with transferable utility. Theorem 1 states that the D-core is the only solution satisfying projection consistency,
