MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Electroanalytical Determination of Antimony
Antimony is an element that is common in the environment owing to numerous industrial applications and, in places, natural occurrence. The toxicity of some antimony compounds ought to place the element at the focus of analytical determination ...

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Phase Diagrams of Bi1-xSbx Thin Films with Different Growth Orientations
A closed-form model is developed to evaluate the band-edge shift caused by quantum confinement for a two-dimensional non-parabolic carrier-pocket. Based on this model, the symmetries and the band-shifts of different carrier-pockets are evaluated for BiSb

Complementarity of Long‐Reads and Optical Mapping in Parkinson's Disease for Structural Variants
ABSTRACT Objective Long‐read sequencing and optical genome mapping technologies have the ability to detect large and complex structural variants. This has led to the discovery of novel pathogenic variants in neurodegenerative movement disorders. Thus, we aimed to systematically compare the SV detection capabilities of OGM and ONT in Parkinson's disease.

The Evaluation of the Corrosion Resistance of the Al-Si Alloys Antimony Alloyed
This paper deals with the evaluation of the corrosion resistance of the Al-Si alloys alloyed with the different amount of antimony. Specifically it goes about the alloy AlSi7Mg0,3 which is antimony alloyed in the concentrations 0; 0,001; 0,005; 0,01 a 0 ...

Structural lubricity under ambient conditions. [PDF]
Despite its fundamental importance, physical mechanisms that govern friction are poorly understood. While a state of ultra-low friction, termed structural lubricity, is expected for any clean, atomically flat interface consisting of two different ...

Impact of Plasma p‐tau181 on Cognition, Motor Phenotypes, and Disease Course in ALS
ABSTRACT Phosphorylated tau181 (p‐tau181), an Alzheimer's disease biomarker, was recently evaluated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We investigated plasma p‐tau181 in 202 ALS/ALS‐FTD patients and 94 healthy controls, assessing cognitive performance, motor function, and longitudinal dynamics.
