Geological characteristics and genetic types of antimony deposits in the Weishan Yongping ore concentration area of Yunnan Province

Highlights in Science Engineering and Technology, 2023
The Weishan Yongping ore concentration area is located at the southern end of the "Jubao Basin" in the Lanping Basin, and is part of the Lanping-Simao mineralization belt. It is an important antimony ore belt in Yunnan Province. This article analyzes the

Accumulation and transport of antimony and arsenic in terrestrial and aquatic plants in an antimony ore concentration area (south-west China)

, 2020
Environmental context Phytoremediation requires an understanding of bioconcentration and translocation processes that determine behaviour and fate of potentially toxic elements.

Carcinogenic effects of antimony trioxide and antimony ore concentrate in rats

Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, 1986
This study was initiated because of a suspected increase in incidence of lung cancer in antimony smelter workers in England. Three groups of 8-mo-old Wistar-derived rats (90 males and 90 females per group) were exposed by inhalation to either Sb2O3 [time-weighted average (TWA) 45 mg/m3], Sb ore concentrate (TWA 36 + 40 mg/m3), or filtered air (controls)

SPATIOTEMPORAL AND GENETIC RELATIONSHIPS OF GOLD ORE AND MERCURY-ANTIMONY MINERALIZATION AT THE HG-SB-GOLD-BEARINGCHAUVAI DEPOSIT (KIRGHIZIA): GEOLOGY, MINERALOGY OF ORES AND FEATURES OF HYDROTHERMAL-METASOMATIC PROCESSES

GEOLOGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES OF SIBERIA, 2021
The Chauvai Hg-Sb deposit is a striking example of combining two contrasting types of mineralization in space: mercury-antimony and gold ones.

Preparation of antimony ore samples for determining the content of macro- and microcomponents by x-ray fluorescence analysis

, 2020
X-ray fluorescence is a convenient method for the quantitative analysis of antimony sulfide ores. A technique for preparing samples of antimony ores for analysis by high-temperature oxidation of samples in air has been developed and described.

Pollution characteristics, risk assessment and source comparative analysis of potentially toxic elements in soils of three superlarge antimony ore areas in the Zijiang River, Hunan, China.

Environmental Pollution
The soils pollution of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in the antimony (Sb)-ore area has seriously threatened residents' health and ecological safety.

Processing of Gold Bearing Antimony Ore

Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review, 1995
A wet chemical process was developed for the separation of gold from gold-bearing antimony sulphide ores. The ore sample was taken from the mine Urquidi from Oruro in Bolivia. It contained roughly 33% Sb in the form of antimonite. 24% Si in the form of quartz, small quantities of Pb, Fe, Cu, and Ni as well as 63 g/t gold, 60% of it as visible gold. The

Antimony Ore Identification Method for Small Sample X-Ray Images with Random Distribution

Minerals
The performance of image processing is crucial for accurately sorting antimony ore, yet several challenges persist. Existing image segmentation methods struggle with X-ray ore images that contain high noise and interference.
