A 67‐year‐old man with cryptogenic organising pneumonia developed recurrent relapses despite corticosteroid and mycophenolate therapy. A complete absence of mannose‐binding lectin was identified, suggesting impaired apoptotic cell clearance as a contributor to persistent inflammation.

Silicone implant rupture can trigger an autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome induced by adjuvants, presenting with sarcoid‐like pulmonary lesions. In this case report, removal of the ruptured implants led to clinical and radiological improvements. ABSTRACT Silicone implants can trigger adjuvant‐induced autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome (ASIA).

Abstract Purpose To report long‐term outcomes and to search for immunological and genetic risk factors in Terrien marginal degeneration (TMD). Methods Retrospective, in part prospective, hospital‐based longitudinal follow‐up study of 32 eyes of 16 Finnish patients from 2012 to 2023. Median follow‐up was 7.3 years (range, 0.3–15.2).
