Musical instrument training program improves verbal memory and neural efficiency in novice older adults. [PDF]
The study demonstrated increased neural efficiency (decreased task‐related brain activation and functional connectivity) in older adults after the instrumental training program. Moreover, this was accompanied by improved behavioral performances in non‐musical verbal memory.

Drought Response and Genetic Variation in Scots Pine Seedlings' Provenances: Insights From High-Throughput Phenotyping for Climate-Resilient Forestry. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) is characterized by considerable intraspecific adaptive variability in response to environmental stress factors due to its wide geographical range. Adaptability is key for forestry, promising resilience against upcoming Europe's climate‐driven droughts.

Establishing the indoor and outdoor humidity values in a greenhouse allows us to describe the crop yield during its entire developmental cycle. This study seeks to develop a predictive model of indoor relative humidity values in a greenhouse with high accuracy and interpretability through the use of optimized fuzzy inference systems, in order to offer ...

Fixed‐Point Results for Mappings Satisfying Implicit Relation in Orthogonal Fuzzy Metric Spaces
This research paper introduces a comprehensive study on fixed points in orthogonal fuzzy metric spaces. The primary objective is to establish the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for self‐mappings satisfying implicit relation criteria in complete orthogonal fuzzy metric spaces.

Gradual Sets: An Approach to Fuzzy Sets
In the fuzzy theory of sets and groups, the use of α‐levels is a standard to translate problems from the fuzzy to the crisp framework. Using strong α‐levels, it is possible to establish a one to one correspondence which makes possible doubly, a gradual and a functorial treatment of the fuzzy theory.

In this paper, we introduce fuzzy nano (resp. δ, δS, P and Z) locally closed set and fuzzy nano (resp. δ, δS, P and Z) extremally disconnected spaces in fuzzy nano topological spaces. Also, we introduce some new spaces called fuzzy nano (resp. δ, δS, P and Z) normal spaces and strongly fuzzy nano (resp.

Abstract This is an essay in three parts on writing differently, on grief and on breathing. The first part I wrote in one go, embodied and raw. The second part was written over two months, reflecting on my earlier words. The third part argues for the importance of writing differently. I write for hope.

P‐Fuzzy Ideals and P‐Fuzzy Filters in P‐Algebras
In this paper, we introduce the concept of p‐fuzzy ideals and p‐fuzzy filters in a p‐algebra. We provide a set of equivalent conditions for a fuzzy ideal to be a p‐fuzzy ideal and a p‐algebra to be a Boolean algebra. It is proved that the class of p‐fuzzy ideals forms a complete distributive lattice.

This paper deals with constrained multistage machines flow‐shop (FS) scheduling model in which processing times, job weights, and break‐down machine time are characterized by fuzzy numbers that are piecewise as well as quadratic in nature. Avoiding to convert the model into its crisp, the closed interval approximation for the piecewise quadratic fuzzy ...
