RE-AODV: Improved AODV Routing Protocol for Repairing Efficiency
Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a self-organized, quickly configurable network, which does not have fixed infrastructure. Mobility is one of the most characteristic in MANET, but it may cause the failure of a valid link. There are two repair mechanisms—local repair and source repair in Ad hoc on demand distance vector protocol (AODV).

Performance Comparison of Modified AODV-ETX with AODV and AODV-ETX Routing Protocol in an MANET
Abstract Expected Transmission Count (ETX) is one of the many metrics developed in the ad hoc routing protocol. Most research, studied on modified AODV-ETX by varying the value of MY ROUTE TIMEOUT (MRT) and ACTIVE ROUTE TIMEOUT (ART) values in the RREQ and RREP packet headers.

Rapid 5G/6G evolution demands cross‐layer resource management to address congestion, latency, and reliability in multi‐hop wireless networks. This paper proposes a TOHRP–LBCA framework using DSA and congestion−/topology−/interference‐aware routing and channel allocation, yielding throughput gains, lower latency, improved packet delivery, and higher ...

An improved routing protocol Ad-AODV Based on AODV
In Ad Hoc network, AODV routing protocol is an on-demand routing protocol of relative maturity and extensive application. Due to the fact that AODV routing protocol doesn’t consider the residual energy and the load situation of the nodes when choosing routes, its efficiency declines sharply in the case of the high load and fast moving velocity.

HMC‐DSR: An FPGA‐Accelerated Clustered Routing Protocol for Scalable and Energy‐Efficient MANETs
FPGA‐based HMC‐DSR protocol enhances MANET routing with real‐time, energy‐efficient processing, reducing end‐to‐end delay by 20.7%. Power consumption decreased by 15.8%, making it ideal for energy‐constrained systems. Hardware resource optimization achieved a 31.2% reduction in flip‐flops and 27.4% in slice utilization. Throughput improvement of 19.4%,

Modelling and Analysis of AODV in UPPAAL [PDF]
This paper describes work in progress towards an automated formal and rigorous analysis of the Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol, a popular protocol used in ad hoc wireless networks. We give a brief overview of a model of AODV implemented in the UPPAAL model checker, and describe experiments carried out to explore AODV's ...
