AOI-Based Novel Majority Approximators for Energy-Efficient On-Chip Data Bus Inversion

This paper proposes two new AOI-based approximate encoders for data bus inversion (DBI) in on-chip data buses. Traditional accurate DBI encoders suffer from high hardware complexity, making them impractical for on-chip DBI applications.

Abstract The 2025 Mw 7.6 Aomori‐Oki earthquake nucleated near the 1968 Mw 8.3 Tokachi‐Oki rupture area. Our waveform inversion reveals large slip (>1 m) extending ∼40 km northward from the hypocenter, overlapping the inferred 1968 northern asperity.
