Robust Fault Tolerant AOMDV Routing Mechanism in MANET

2011
Wireless mobile ad-hoc networks are characterized as networks without any physical connections. Multipath routing is a new extension to many traditional routing protocols in MANETs. Using multipath routing in MANETs can save energy, reduce frequent routing update, enhance data transmission rates, and increase wireless network bandwidth.

New approach to improve the robustness of AOMDV protocol

10th International Multi-Conferences on Systems, Signals & Devices 2013 (SSD13), 2013
In Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) [1], packet loss rate is high because of frequent changes in the network topology and the lossy nature of radio links. In this context, it is very delicate, for reactive routing protocols, to support multimedia communication. Route request process, as well as route breakage notification, is frequently repeated.
