This study develops an Au/S‐doped reduced graphene oxide (Au@S‐rGO) sensor for rapid fentanyl detection. DFT simulations and structural analysis confirm atomically dispersed Au/S configurations, enhancing catalytic activity. The sensor achieves a 9.7 nmol L−1 detection limit, 98–104% recovery in human serum, and 85.7–93.6% consistency with mass ...

Persistence diagrams for exploring the shape variability of abdominal aortic aneurysms [PDF]
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm consists of a permanent dilation in the abodminal portion of the aorta and, along with its associated pathologies like calcifications and intraluminal thrombi, is one of the most important pathologies of the circulatory system.

This study uncovers that CD38high monocytes discriminate sepsis and sterile inflammation and are associated with 28‐day mortality in bacterial sepsis. Targeting CD38 therapy reduces inflammatory response in monocytes and in sepsis mice model. Mechanistically, CD38‐HIF‐1α/glycolysis/MGO loop exacerbates sepsis‐induced immune dysregulation.

Towards Autonomous Navigation of Neuroendovascular Tools for Timely Stroke Treatment via Contact-aware Path Planning [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a model-based contact-aware motion planner for autonomous navigation of neuroendovascular tools in acute ischemic stroke. The planner is designed to find the optimal control strategy for telescopic pre-bent catheterization tools such as guidewire and catheters, currently used for neuroendovascular procedures. A kinematic model

Calpain‐2‐Mediated Endothelial Focal Adhesion Disruption in Thoracic Aortic Dissection
The elevated expression of Capn2 in endothelial cells activates focal adhesion signaling by cleaving Talin1 and assembling Itgav, which compromises the integrity of the endothelial barrier and induces vascular inflammation. Inhibition of calpain through both pharmacological and transgenic approaches has effectively suppressed the onset and progression ...

A dual‐modal wearable pulse detection system is developed for sleep apnea monitoring by integrating a self‐powered PENG and PPG sensor with a biomimetic fingertip structure. Through a two‐stage detection strategy, continuous PPW monitoring and on‐demand PPG detection achieve high‐accuracy sleep apnea recognition while maintaining low power consumption.

Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.

Analysis of Wave Propagation in Detection of Aorta DiesesUsing Lumps Analysis
In this paper a theoretical attempt is made to determine whether changes in the aorta diameter at different location along the aorta can be detected by brachial artery measurement.

The present study shows that macrophage WEE1 drives NF‐κB activation and inflammatory atherosclerosis by directly phosphorylating p65 at S536. This finding illustrates a macrophage‐specific WEE1‐p65 axis in regulating inflammatory atherosclerosis and points out new directions to broaden the clinical applications for WEE1 inhibitors in atherosclerosis ...
