Sonographic Diagnosis of an Intercostal Artery Pseudoaneurysm: A Case Report and Literature Review

A 63‐year‐old male presented to the emergency department after being found unconscious during a welfare check. Following a prolonged three‐month hospital admission, the patient developed left flank pain. Spectral Doppler ultrasound revealed a large isoechoic lesion with layering echoes, and spectral Doppler demonstrated bidirectional flow.

Enhanced Myometrial Vascularity (EMV) is a serious gynecological condition that often leads to abnormal uterine bleeding. Malformation size and involvement of the uterine fundus are significant risk factors. If EMV diameter > 3.85 cm, the bleeding of the patient is more likely to result in failure in UAE treatment.

Utilisation of Objective and Subjective Image Quality Metrics to Guide Optimal Contrast Volumes for Abdominal CT

Determining the appropriate volume of iodinated contrast media (ICM) for portal venous phase abdominal CT is challenging. Objective image quality assessment demonstrates weight‐based volume dosing reduces the dependence of enhancement on patient size, compared to fixed volume.
