aortic Dissection in Taiwan.

open access: yesJapanese Heart Journal, 1995
We retrospectively reviewed all patients with a final diagnosis of spontaneous thoracic aortic dissection treated at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital between January 1989 and December 1994. There were a total of 109 patients with a mean age of 55 +/- 11 years ranging from 19 to 88 years. The male-to-female ratio was 2 to 1 (73 to 36).

Brown Adipocyte Sheets Alleviate Myocardial Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury Through NRG4–ErbB4–Dependent Ferroptosis Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Brown adipocyte sheets are engineered to protect the heart against myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury by restraining ferroptosis. Upon transplantation onto the cardiac surface, they improve cardiac function, limit infarction and fibrosis, and enhance angiogenesis.

Senescent Cell Derived Artificial Vesicle‐Based Senolytic Sonovaccine Platform with Augmented Lymph Node Delivery and Antigen Cross‐Presentation Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A senolytic sonovaccine platform (SenoVac) is developed, in which senescent cell‐derived vesicles serve as broad senescent cell antigen reservior. The “2‐step” click chemistry strategy for effective lymph node delivery, and ultrasound‐triggered endosomal escape to boost cross‐presentation, ensures efficient senescent cell clearance and disease ...
