Transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy in aortic stenosis patients scheduled for transcatheter aortic valve implantation

We aimed to diagnose occult ATTR‐CM in patients with severe aortic stenosis undergoing TAVI using bone scintigraphy. We verified a diagnosis of ATTR‐CM in 8 of 171 (4.7 %) consecutive aortic stenosis patients who underwent TAVI.
