Early Albumin Administration in Veno‐Arterial Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation
A total of 660 patients received VA ECMO support (66.4% eCPR). Three different volume resuscitation strategies were employed. The Crystalloid group received balanced crystalloid volume substitution. In the Albumin group, a 1:4 volume mixture of albumin and balanced crystalloids (10 g/L) was used.

Vitamin D Deficiency and Driveline Infections in Patients With Left Ventricular Assist Devices
Pre‐operative vitamin D deficiency was associated with a three‐fold increased risk of driveline infection in left ventricular assist device recipients. This potentially modifiable risk factor could be readily addressed through pre‐implant screening and supplementation, potentially reducing the burden of this common complication.

Clinical Results for Cardiovascular Xenografts Treated With Novel Anticalcification Protocols
This study demonstrates the safety, efficacy, and clinical performance of the tissue‐engineered Periborn bovine pericardial scaffold treated with our novel anticalcification protocols for surgical repair of a variety of cardiovascular diseases. The overall probability of freedom from Periborn‐related reoperation was 95.4% ± 3.2% at 9 years.
