Unfolding and inactivation of cutinases by AOT and guanidine hydrochloride
We present a comparative analysis of the unfolding and inactivation of three cutinases in the presence of guanidine hydrochloride (GdnHCl) and bis(2-ethylhexyl) sodium sulfosuccinate (AOT). Previous investigations have focused on the cutinase from Fusarium solani pisi (FsC).

Atmospheric Transport-Chemistry (ATC) models which focus on photo-oxidant formation have been tested in general to a reasonable extent under episodic conditions. Much less has been done to perform integrated model testing directed to more longer time scales like a growing season or a year.Recently new thresholds have been defined for the protection of ...

To probe the structure of methanol and Aerosol OT (AOT) in AOT reverse micelles by FTIR measurements
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2009We have reported the study of methanol/AOT/n-heptane reverse micellar aggregates using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. We have divided our whole work into two parts. In the first part we have studied the structural properties of Aerosol OT (AOT) reverse micelles by monitoring the changes in the symmetrical sulfonate stretching region ...

Iron dissolution in aqueous AOT solution
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2007The effects of sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) on the electrochemical behavior of iron were studied by potentiodynamic and potentiostatic techniques and open-circuit potential measurements. Experiments were made in both neutral and alkaline AOT solutions (pH 7 and pH 12).

Dynamics of AOT and AOT/Nonionic Cosurfactant Microemulsions. An Iodine-Laser Temperature Jump Study
Langmuir, 2000The iodine-laser temperature jump (ILTJ) technique was used to probe the interfacial and intermicellar dynamics of water-in-isooctane microemulsions stabilized by AOT both in the presence and in the absence of a cosurfactant such as an aliphatic chained alcohol (hexanol or decanol) or poly(oxyethylene) alkyl ether (C10E4 or C10E8).
