Radiological features of Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor: Report of a maxillary case and a mandibular one

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, 2022
We present two cases of AOT, the first case concerns a 23‐year‐old patient with an AOT located in the maxilla and the second case involves a 37‐year‐old patient presenting an AOT with mandibular localization.

Spectrometric Study of AOT-Hydrolysis Reaction in Water/AOT/Isooctane Microemulsions Using Phenolphthalein as a Chemical Probe

open access: yes, 2016
The kinetics of the alkaline hydrolysis of sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate (AOT) in water/AOT/isooctane microemulsions has been studied by monitoring the absorbance change of the phenolphthalein in the system with time.

Substandard and Falsified Medicines, Regulatory Capacity and Public Health: A Narrative Review With a Focus on Africa

open access: yesPublic Health Challenges, Volume 5, Issue 3, September 2026.
Weak medicines regulation in Africa enables the circulation of substandard and falsified medicines, undermining treatment outcomes, accelerating antimicrobial resistance and eroding public trust. This narrative review synthesised 38 studies from 2000 to 2025, highlighting regulatory gaps, public health harms and regional disparities.

Survey of Rift Valley Fever Virus Antibodies and Risk Factors in Small Ruminants in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria: A Cross‐Sectional Serological Study

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
High seroprevalence of Rift Valley fever virus antibodies (47.9%) in small ruminants in Maiduguri indicates substantial past exposure. Age, sex, and residence in flood‐prone areas were significant risk factors, highlighting the need for targeted surveillance and vector control to reduce livestock and public health impacts.

Global Ozone Reduction Driven by Dust‐Catalyzed Halogen Chemistry

open access: yesAGU Advances, Volume 7, Issue 6, September 2026.
Abstract Tropospheric ozone (O3) influences climate and poses risks to human health and crop productivity. Its distribution is shaped by complex interactions between chemical production, transport, and loss processes, including reactions with naturally occurring halogens.

Fish Mass Mortality Events Trigger Energy Transfer via Invertebrate‐Mediated Pathways at the Aquatic–Terrestrial Interface

open access: yesFreshwater Biology, Volume 71, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Animal mass mortality events are increasing under global change, generating large and unpredictable pulses of carrion that can influence ecosystem functioning. Although scavenger dynamics at individual carcasses are relatively well understood, little is known about how terrestrial vertebrate and invertebrate assemblages exploit large carrion ...

Dust Layer Height Leads Atmospheric Boundary Layer Height by 3 hr Over the Taklimakan Desert

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 15, 16 August 2026.
Abstract The vertical distribution of dust modulates its radiative forcing and long‐range transport, yet the diurnal relationship between dust layer height (DLH) and atmospheric boundary layer height (ABLH) remains poorly constrained by observations.
