Journal of Diabetes Investigation, Volume 17, Issue 9, Page 1506-1513, September 2026.We developed a machine learning model to predict renal function decline in patients with type 2 diabetes and preserved kidney function. Using one year of routine clinical data, the model forecasts eGFR decline over three years, enabling early identification of high‐risk patients and supporting timely, targeted therapeutic interventions.
