Mosaic morphology in Podocnemididae revealed by a new turtle from the Middle Miocene La Venta Biome, Colombia

Abstract A new genus and species of podocnemidid turtle, Shakiremys colombiana, is described here from the Middle Miocene La Venta Biome, located in south‐central Colombia.
