An analysis of success and failure of apicoectomies
Journal of Endodontics, 1991The radiographs from 715 patient charts were analyzed to study the effect of 11 factors on the success and failure of apicoectomies. Of these, 424 had recall radiographs of 6 months or more and were evaluated for changes in radiolucencies. The data were analyzed by cross-tabulation and chi-square analysis for significant relationships. Complete healing

Apicoectomy on molars: a clinical and radiographical study
International Journal of Oral Surgery, 1983Apicoectomies on molars are not performed frequently, although their success rate can reach that obtained by apicoectomies on front teeth and premolars. 86 patients were operated on between January 1976 and December 1980 at St. Radboud Hospital. Clinical and radiological re-examination could be carried out on 70 of them.

Mandibular Incisor Apicoectomy in a Canadian Beaver
Journal of Veterinary Dentistry, 2009A 52-month-old Canadian beaver was presented for treatment of lip trauma resulting from overgrowth of the right mandibular incisor tooth following earlier loss of the right maxillary incisor tooth. Bony lid approach for apicoectomy of mandibular molars
Australian Dental Journal, 1991AbstractApicoectomy in the lower molar region is indicated in many instances to avoid the need for prosthetic appliances.
