Wild‐Type Transthyretin Amyloidosis Complicated by Alveolar Hypoventilation due to Diaphragmatic Dysfunction

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025.
We report the first case of alveolar hypoventilation due to diaphragmatic dysfunction in ATTRwt. Chest radiographs show little change in the height of the diaphragm during expiration (A) and inspiration (B). Ultrasound evaluation shows minimal diaphragmatic thickening during inspiration. ABSTRACT We report a case of wild‐type transthyretin amyloidosis (

Investigating the shared genetic architecture between obstructive sleep apnea and sleep‐related traits

open access: yesSleep Research, Volume 2, Issue 4, Page 228-239, December 2025.
Abstract Background Despite a strong link between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and sleep traits, the shared genetic architecture remains unclear. This study aims to explore the shared genetic basis and bidirectional causal between OSA and sleep traits.

Characterisation of nocturnal arrhythmia avalanche dynamics: Insights from generalised linear model analysis

open access: yesJournal of Sleep Research, Volume 34, Issue 6, December 2025.
Summary Nocturnal arrhythmia avalanche (NAA) episodes, characterised by transient non‐sustained cardiac arrhythmias during sleep, have been demonstrated as a predictor of adverse cardiovascular events. However, their dynamics and association with sleep architecture and events remain unclear.
