Decreased multidrug resistance protein 1 and increased platelet activation in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome

open access: yesSleep Research, EarlyView.
There was a positive correlation between apnea/hypopnea index (AHI) index and platelet aggregation and a negative correlation between CD42b and multidrug resistance protein 1 (MRP1). Platelet activation was high while MRP1 expression was low in severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) independent of smoking, age, and gender.

In‐Situ Vertical‐Contact Engineering of Laser‐Induced Graphene Nanotips for Ultra‐Sensitive Humidity Sensors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study presents a vertical‐contact architecture using fully exposed, vertically aligned laser‐induced graphene (LIG) nanotips for ultra‐sensitive humidity sensing. By leveraging sharp LIG nanotips for either direct conduction or noncontact field ionization, the sensor achieves over 100‐fold higher sensitivity than conventional designs and enables ...
