Apocrine adenoma versus apocrine carcinoma
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1980Two examples of apocrine neoplasm are presented, contrasting the features of an apocrine adenoma with those of a possible apocrine adenocarcinoma. Apocrine adenocarcinoma, distinct from Paget's disease, is a rare neoplasm. Its recognition is complicated by long periods of benign growth and by subtle histologic differences from apocrine adenoma.

An Unusual Apocrine Carcinoma on the Forehead
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2007We herein report an unusual case of apocrine carcinoma on the forehead. The lesion was formed by the anastomosis of numerous tubular structures with widespread decapitation secretion, thus demonstrating apocrine differentiation. However, we observed some unusual histopathologic features that differed from those found in typical examples of apocrine ...

Sebaceous Carcinoma With Apocrine Differentiation
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2001A 54-year-old male had a dome-shaped and skin-colored nodule on his nose. Histopathologically, we diagnosed this neoplasm as a low-grade sebaceous carcinoma rather than a sebaceoma based on the scanning magnification and cytology. This low-grade sebaceous carcinoma was associated with glandular structures.

Axillary apocrine carcinoma with Paget’s disease and apocrine naevus
Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, 2009Apocrine carcinoma is a rare malignant sweat-gland neoplasm with apocrine differentiation. There have been some reported cases of apocrine carcinoma with apocrine naevus. We report a case of a 78-year-old man with a painless tumour of the left axilla. Positron emission tomography (PET) showed slight fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in both axillae.

Reports on apocrine gland carcinoma are very scant in the literature. This fact can be attributed mainly to three factors. Firstly, the apocrine type of sweat gland is normally distributed in only a few areas of the body and the glands are few in number. Secondly, while benign tumors of the apocrine glands are not too uncommon, the malignant variety is

APOCRINE GLAND CARCINOMA (SWEAT GLAND CARCINOMA) OF THE BREAST
Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1964SummaryAn apocrine gland carcinoma of the breast occurring in a woman aged 71 years is reported, in which the pathological features, while being in general similar to those which have been described in the literature, presept the unique features of areas of squamous metaplasia and abundant iron pigment.

Apocrine carcinoma (AC) is an extremely rare skin appendage tumor, which is located at lower dermal and subcutaneous tissue. We report a case of an anal AC arising from an apocrine adenoma in the anal region, which is only the second case reported in this region. A 71-year-old male presented to clinic with soreness in the anal region for 6 weeks.

Treatment strategy for cutaneous apocrine carcinoma
International Journal of Clinical Oncology, 2013Cutaneous apocrine carcinoma (CAC) is a rare adnexal carcinoma with only scattered reports about long-term follow-up. The aim of this study is to demonstrate clinical findings in the prognosis of CAC and discuss the treatment procedure. The subjects were nine patients with a histological diagnosis of CAC who underwent wide excision and regional lymph ...
