Apocrine Hidrocystoma: A Candelabrum of the Eye – A Case Report
Indian Journal of Postgraduate DermatologyHidrocystomas are apocrine gland proliferations of the skin that are fluid filled and benign in nature. Two main types are recognised, namely apocrine and eccrine hidrocystoma, identified based on histological findings. Surgical excision is the treatment

Apocrine Hidrocystoma of the Nail: A Unique Case.
American journal of dermatopathologyApocrine hidrocystomas are benign, cystic neoplastic lesions resulting from the apocrine secretory component of the sweat gland. They most commonly occur on the head and neck, with predilection to the periorbital area.

Apocrine hidrocystoma: report of a case
British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1996A case of apocrine hidrocystoma, mimicking a naso-labial cyst of the maxilla is reported. The histopathological features and treatment of these rare lesions is discussed.

Recurrent Giant Apocrine Hidrocystoma of the Leg: A Case Report.
JBJS Case Connector, 2020CASE A 26-year-old woman developed a painful enlarging mass in her left leg over the course of 4 years. Marginal resection and local adjuvant therapy was undertaken, and pathology confirmed the mass to be an apocrine hidrocystoma.

Multiple Apocrine Hidrocystomas on the Eyelids
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 1989A 31-year-old man with multiple cystic tumors symmetrically distributed on his eyelids is presented. Histopathology and immunohistochemistry suggest the diagnosis of apocrine hidrocystomas. Apocrine hidrocystomas occur frequently on the face, but multiple and symmetrical occurrence on the eyelids has not been reported up to now.

Pigmented Apocrine Hidrocystoma of the Caruncle
Cornea, 2010To describe the clinical and immunopathologic features of the first convincing apocrine hidrocystoma of the caruncle that happened to be pigmented.Case report with clinical evaluation, ultrasound biomicroscopy, and paraffin-embedded tissue stained with hematoxylin and eosin, periodic acid-Schiff, and immunohistochemical markers.Ultrasound biomicroscopy

Multiple Apocrine Hidrocystomas of the Eyelids
Orbit, 2012A 52-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of multiple bilateral apocrine hidrocystomas of the eyelids. For the past 3 years, the patient had developed a mechanical ectropion of the right inferior eyelid secondary to progressive enlargement of the lesions. Different therapeutic options were discussed with the patient.

The Fine Structure of Apocrine Hidrocystoma
Archives of Dermatology, 1965The apocrine hidrocystoma, a rare tumor of the human apocrine gland, was studied with the electron microscope. Intracellular changes from the normal included increase in number, size, and complexity of the mitochondria and secretory granules. The internal structure of the secretory granules suggested that these organelles are lysosomes.

The nature of pigment in pigmented apocrine hidrocystoma
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1985Apocrine hidrocystomas are often pigmented clinically. The cause of this pigmentation is not known. A case of pigmented apocrine hidrocystoma is presented with evidence of melanin as the underlying mechanism of the pigmentation. Review of an additional 150 cases suggests that this is rare.
