AbstractAppendiceal mucocele (AM) is a descriptive term for dilated appendiceal lumen, occasionally observed in either symptomatic or asymptomatic patients during colonoscopy. Endoscopically, AM looks like submucosal tumor of the cecum, and may mimic lipoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, or neuroendocrine tumor.
