Principiul protecţiei încrederii legitime. Proiecţii în jurisprudenţa fiscală naţională//The principle of protection of legitimate expectations. National tax case law

open access: yesAnalele Ştiinţifice ale Universităţii "Al.I. Cuza" din Iaşi. Ştiinţe Juridice
This research aims to analyze the correlation between the EU principle of the protection of legitimate expectations and the national tax law. The purpose of this study is to identify the manner in which the principle of the protection of legitimate ...

Slip Localization Intensification Mediated by Grain Boundary Sliding in a Polycrystalline Nickel‐Based Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

The Application of EU Law Beyond Its Borders

open access: yes, 2022
The application of EU law beyond its borders has occasionally been contested on the basis that it is claimed to infringe the sovereign rights of third countries. Extraterritoriality, in the strict sense, is traditionally seen as being inconsistent with principles of territorial sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs: ‘territorial ...

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

High‐Temperature Nanoindentation of Metals: Assessing Thermal Drift, Frame Compliance, and Chemical Composition Effects on the Reported Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

Creep Properties and Deformation Mechanism of Additively Manufactured NiAl‐CrMo Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Additively manufactured NiAl‐CrMo composites contain numerous interfaces and cell boundaries that control their creep response. At 700°C under high applied stress, creep is dominated by dislocation‐controlled power‐law mechanisms. At 800°C–900°C and lower stresses, creep is primarily diffusion‐controlled along cell boundaries.

THE APPLICATION OF EU COMPETITION LAW IN SLOVENIA

open access: yesInterEULawEast : Journal for the international and european law, economics and market integrations, 2014
The ultimate aim of this article is the identification of lessons of paramount importance derived from the Slovenian experience with the application of EU competition law, which can be useful for other (European) countries, in particular for those who joined the European Union in the year 2004 or even later.

Modular Critical Element Recycling Platform Using a Nanoporous Additively Manufactured Gyroid

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A modular recycling platform integrates 3D‐printed nanoporous gyroid structures to enable efficient critical element recovery. This system utilizes a hierarchical architecture, combining macroscopic channels with polymerization‐induced nanoscale porosity. By systematically tuning structural wall thickness and resin formulation, the platform achieves an

Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

The application of EU law from the national judge’s perspective: a plea for an interdisciplinary approach

open access: yes
The application of EU law is chiefly carried out by Member States. Notably, national courts play a pivotal role in that respect, as EU Treaties specifically impose on them the duty to grant legal remedies in the fields of EU law. Accordingly, socio-legal scholarship has focused on the role of national courts in the application and enforcement of EU law
