In this study, we use partially identified Bayesian structural vector autoregression models to analyze the effects of food price shocks on core inflation and 1‐ and 5‐year inflation expectations in New Zealand.

Short‐Term Outcomes and Cost Drivers of Emergency Surgery for Acute Abdominal Disease in Super‐Elderly Patients: A Study in the Japanese Tertiary Care Hospital

This retrospective study analyzed patients aged ≥ 85 years undergoing emergency abdominal surgery, focusing on short‐term outcomes and inpatient cost structure under the Japanese DPC system. Although major complications occurred in 19.4% of patients, more than 70% were discharged home.

Sex‐Based Body Composition Changes in Patients With Rectal Cancer Undergoing Preoperative Chemoradiotherapy: A Prospective Observational Study

Trends, Demographic Characteristics and Seasonal Patterns of Rectal Prolapse Surgery in Japan: A Nationwide Claims‐Based Analysis From 2014 to 2023

This study analyzed nationwide trends, demographic characteristics, and seasonal patterns of rectal prolapse surgery in Japan using healthcare claims data. From 2014 to 2023, age‐adjusted overall and conventional surgeries declined significantly, whereas laparoscopic surgeries increased significantly.

Neuromorphic Denoising with Fully Analog Memristive In‐Memory Computing

This article borrows the concepts of episodic memory in human brains to experimentally implement a memristor‐based neuromorphic denoising process. A homogeneous memristor processing unit is experimentally demonstrated for both temporal storage and neural network computation, imitating the synapses in the human brain.
