DIMENSION‐FREE UNIFORMITY WITH APPLICATIONS, I [PDF]
The author shows that if \(a\leq U < W\), \(d\geq 2\) is an integer, and \(e^{\pi^2U^2/2}\geq 3dU\), then for every test function \(f\in L_2([0,1)^d)\) \[ \Delta_f^2(\text{Gauss};U,W)=(2\pi)^{-d/2}\int_{\mathbb{R}^d}\left(\int_U^W f(t\mathbf{v})\,dt-(W-U)\int_{I^d}f \,dV\right)^2e^{-|\mathbf{v}|^2/2}d\mathbf{v}\] \[ \leq 10\sigma_0^2(f)\left\lceil ...

Theory and application of uniform designs [PDF]
Summary: With the development of science and technology, the numbers of factors in experiments become larger and larger, and the relationships among factors become more and more complex, and then it is very important to organize the experiments scientifically. Orthogonal designs, uniform designs and optimal designs are the popular types of experimental

Convergence of Uniformity Criteria and the Application in Numerical Integration
Quasi-Monte Carlo (QMC) methods have been successfully used for the estimation of numerical integrations arising in many applications. In most QMC methods, low-discrepancy sequences have been used, such as digital nets and lattice rules.

The uniformity space of hypergraphs and its applications
Let \(H=(V,E)\) be a hypergraph and let \(F\) be a field. A function \(f:V\to F\) is stable if \(\sum_{v\in e}f(v)=c\) for some \(c\in F\) and for each \(e\in E\). The linear space consisting of the stable functions is investigated and its applications to several problems in graph theory are shown.
