Si‐Doped Nanocrystalline Diamond as Highly Sensitive Luminescence Thermometer for the Physiological Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, diamonds with negative charged silicon‐vacancy (SiV−) centers have been designed for use as thermometers in biomedical applications. Multiparametric analysis of the emission characteristics of the SiV− centers provides extraordinary sensitivity for temperature detection in the physiological temperature range.

Operando Tracking of Oxygen‐Vacancy Dynamics and Negative Capacitance in Ca‐Doped BiFeO3

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Operando electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, combined with electrocoloration, enables a direct correlation between real‐space ionic redistribution and the corresponding frequency‐domain electrical response. In lateral Ca‐doped BiFeO3 devices, time‐resolved impedance snapshots capture the evolution from bulk‐dominated mixed conduction to an ...

One‐Step Curcumin‐Mediated Multiphoton Lithography for Bioactive 3D Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Curcumin‐mediated multiphoton lithography enables one‐step fabrication of highly architected complex gelatin methacryloyl scaffolds by exploiting curcumin as a multifunctional bioactive photoinitiator. The resulting 3D structures support mesenchymal stem cell adhesion, proliferation, and migration, while exhibiting dual antibacterial activity through ...

Relative controllability for ψ−Caputo fractional delay control system

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization
This paper resolves around relative controllability of ψ−fractional delayed differential equations in finite dimensional space. The Mittag Leffler type of ψ−delayed perturbation matrix function with two parameters exhibits the Grammian matrix of ...

Molecular Rotors: From Newtonian Fluids to Functional Materials as Viscosity and Temperature Sensing Tools

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular rotors are fluorescent molecules that are sensitive to viscosity and temperature variations in the environment. They exhibit a direct correlation between fluorescence and viscosity within Newtonian fluids. However, this correlation becomes less straightforward in complex systems.

Untangling the memory and inhibitory effects on SIS-epidemic model with Beddington–DeAngelis infection rate

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization
The dynamical behaviors of an epidemic model based on the susceptible–infected–susceptible (SIS) model are investigated. The Beddington–DeAngelis functional response is used for the infection rate to present the dependence of the transmission of the ...

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

A nonlinear fractional fishery resource system model with Crowley–Martin functional response under Mittag-Leffler kernel

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization
This article studies the action of predators and the predator-dependent functional response in the fishery resource model. We employ the Atangana–Baleanu–Caputo fractional derivative to study the proposed fractional fishery resource model in the presence
