Class IIa HDACs forced degradation allows resensitization of oxaliplatin‐resistant FBXW7‐mutated colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Hubble Space Telescope Observations of 3200 Phaethon At Closest Approach

open access: yes, 2018
We present Hubble Space Telescope observations of the active asteroid (and Geminid stream parent) 3200 Phaethon when at its closest approach to Earth (separation 0.07 AU) in 2017 December.

Stochastic inflation: Quantum phase-space approach [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1992
In this paper a quantum mechanical phase space picture is constructed for coarse-grained free quantum fields in an inflationary Universe. The appropriate stochastic quantum Liouville equation is derived. Explicit solutions for the phase space quantum distribution function are found for the cases of power law and exponential expansions.

Cis‐regulatory and long noncoding RNA alterations in breast cancer – current insights, biomarker utility, and the critical need for functional validation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Generation of Space Shooter Level Using Genetic Approach

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2019
In this article, we used genetic algorithm and geometric-based approach to generating level for 2D space shooter game. We used the defined fitness value from game designer to limit the fitness value of the genetic algorithm process.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Urban Morphology: The Significance of Urban Space History

open access: yesLand
The importance of urban morphology lies with its interdisciplinary approach from architecture over history to geography. However, often enough, its scientific methods only marginally start from the urban space itself that makes morphology tangible in the

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Clinical analysis and surgical approaches for parapharyngeal space tumors

open access: yesKouqiang hemian waike zazhi
Parapharyngeal space (PPS) is a deep anatomical compartment in the head and neck region, containing critical structures such as the internal carotid artery and cranial nerves. Primary tumors in this area are relatively rare.

On (pre-) approach spaces within convergence approach spaces

open access: yes
The purpose of this note is to illustrate a parallel between (pre)topologies when seen among convergence spaces and (pre)approach spaces when seen among convergence approach spaces, that appears to be a more complete parallel than in the traditional presentation of these approach structures.
