Approximating commuting operators
Let \(\mathcal{C}(m,n)\) be the set of \(m\)-tuples of commuting \(n\times n\) complex matrices, and let \(\mathcal{G}(m,n)\) be the subset consisting of \(m\)-tuples of generic commuting matrices (that is, matrices which have distinct eigenvalues).

Ergodic Theory, Dynamic Mode Decomposition, and Computation of Spectral Properties of the Koopman Operator [PDF]
We establish the convergence of a class of numerical algorithms, known as dynamic mode decomposition (DMD), for computation of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the infinite-dimensional Koopman operator.

Spectral Continuity for Aperiodic Quantum Systems II. Periodic Approximations in 1D
The existence and construction of periodic approximations with convergent spectra is crucial in solid state physics for the spectral study of corresponding Schr\"odinger operators. In a forthcoming work [9] (arXiv:1709.00975) this task was boiled down to

Approximate Wavelets and the Approximation of Pseudodifferential Operators
The paper studies an approximate multiresolution analysis for spaces generated by smooth functions which provide high order cubature formulas for integral operators of mathematical physics. Since these functions satisfy refinement equations with any prescribed accuracy methods of the wavelet theory can be applied.

ABSTRACT Objectives To identify predictors of chronic ITP (cITP) and to develop a model based on several machine learning (ML) methods to estimate the individual risk of chronicity at the timepoint of diagnosis. Methods We analyzed a longitudinal cohort of 944 children enrolled in the Intercontinental Cooperative immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) Study ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Algorithmic complexity of quantum capacity
Recently the theory of communication developed by Shannon has been extended to the quantum realm by exploiting the rules of quantum theory. This latter stems on complex vector spaces.

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...
