Analytical Approximate Solutions for Scalarized AdS Black Holes
The spontaneous scalarization of Schwarzscild-AdS is investigated in the Einstein-scalar-Gauss–Bonnet (ESGB) theory. Firstly, we construct scalarized AdS black holes numerically. Secondly, making use of the homotopy analysis method (HAM), we obtain analytical approximate solutions for scalarized AdS black holes in the ESGB theory.

The Consecutive Substitution Method for Boundary Value Problems (BVPs) with Retarded Argument
In this study, we applied an approximate solution method for solving the boundary value problems (BVPs) with retarded argument. The method is the consecutive substitution method. The consecutive substitution method was applied and an approximate solution

A unified approach to blending of constant and varying parametric surfaces with curvature continuity [PDF]
In this paper, we develop a new approach to blending of constant and varying parametric surfaces with curvature continuity. We propose a new mathematical model consisting of a vector-valued sixth-order partial differential equation (PDE) and time ...

A new analytical approximate solution of fractional coupled Korteweg-de Vries system [PDF]
The main objective of this work is to present a modification of the Mittag- Leffler function to deduce a relatively new analytical approximate method (for short MMLFM) able to solve time-fractional nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs ...

An approximate analytical solution of Richards equation with finite boundary
We apply a series expansion technique to estimate the water content distribution and front position in finite boundary conditions. We derive an approximate analytical solution of the Richards equation (RE) for the horizontal infiltration problem.

Formation of glassy skins in drying polymer solutions: approximate analytical solutions
We investigate the formation of glassy skins at the surface of drying solutions. We quantitatively predict both the formation time of the skin and its growth, whatever the concentration dependence of the mutual diffusion coefficient.

On the Approximate Analytical Solution to Non-Linear Oscillation Systems
This study describes an analytical method to study two well-known systems of nonlinear oscillators. One of these systems deals with the strongly nonlinear vibrations of an elastically restrained beam with a lumped mass.
