TUNNEL MODELING USING MOBILE MAPPING LIDAR POINTS [PDF]
In this paper, a method to model a tunnel using lidar points is presented. The data used was collected using Leica Pegasus Two Ultimate with a Z+F 9012 Profiler mounted on a mobile platform. The tunnel was approximately 151 m long.

Dynamic and Approximate Pattern Matching in 2D [PDF]
We consider dynamic and online variants of 2D pattern matching between an \(m \times m\) pattern and an \(n \times n\) text. All the algorithms we give are randomised and give correct outputs with at least constant probability.

Weighted approximate parameterized string matching
We consider the problem of finding a bijection to match a pattern in a text where both the pattern and the text are strings from distinct alphabets.

State Complexity of Neighbourhoods and Approximate Pattern Matching [PDF]
The neighbourhood of a language [Formula: see text] with respect to an additive distance consists of all strings that have distance at most the given radius from some string of [Formula: see text]. We show that the worst case deterministic state complexity of a radius [Formula: see text] neighbourhood of a language recognized by an [Formula: see text ...

Revisiting Volgenant-Jonker for Approximating Graph Edit Distance [PDF]
Although it is agreed that the Volgenant-Jonker (VJ) algorithm provides a fast way to approximate graph edit distance (GED), until now nobody has reported how the VJ algorithm can be tuned for this task.

Dog Identification Method Based on Muzzle Pattern Image
Currently, invasive and external radio frequency identification (RFID) devices and pet tags are widely used for dog identification. However, social problems such as abandoning and losing dogs are constantly increasing. A more effective alternative to the

Field pattern of the vertical dipole antenna above a Lossy half-space [PDF]
The field pattern of the vertical dipole antenna (VDA) placed above a homogenous and isotropic medium is determined in this paper. The unknown current distribution (UCD) on the antenna is evaluated by solving the system of integral equations of Hallen’s ...

On String Matching with Mismatches
In this paper, we consider several variants of the pattern matching with mismatches problem. In particular, given a text \(T=t_1 t_2\cdots t_n\) and a pattern \(P=p_1p_2\cdots p_m\), we investigate the following problems: (1) pattern matching with ...

Creating Image Mosaics using Statistical Methods for Images Alignment [PDF]
Image mosaics is a collection of small images arranged in a way that when they are seen from a distance they seen as larger image. It occupies a wide field in computer vision and image processing area. This field is performed in four stages. These stages
