This paper is concerned with performance analysis for bounded persistent disturbances of continuous-time linear time-invariant (LTI) systems. Such an analysis can be done by computing the L∞-induced norm of continuous-time LTI systems since it ...

Dynamics of interacting Brownian particles: a diagrammatic formulation
We present a diagrammatic formulation of a theory for the time dependence of density fluctuations in equilibrium systems of interacting Brownian particles.

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

An approximate analytical solution of Richards equation with finite boundary
We apply a series expansion technique to estimate the water content distribution and front position in finite boundary conditions. We derive an approximate analytical solution of the Richards equation (RE) for the horizontal infiltration problem.

Numerical Solutions of ODEs using Volterra Series [PDF]
We propose a numerical approach for solving systems of nonautonomous ordinary di®erential equations under suitable assumptions. This approach is based on expansion of the solutions by Volterra series and allows to estimate the accuracy of the ...

Summation of Power Series by Self-Similar Factor Approximants
A novel method of summation for power series is developed. The method is based on the self-similar approximation theory. The trick employed is in transforming, first, a series expansion into a product expansion and in applying the self-similar ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Observation of vibrating systems at different time instants
In this paper, we obtain new observability inequalities for the vibrating string. This work was motivated by a recent paper of A. Szijártó and J.

Wavelet series expansion in Hardy spaces with approximate duals
In this paper, we provide sufficient conditions for the functions $ψ$ and $ϕ$ to be the approximate duals in the Hardy space $H^p(\mathbb{R})$ for all ...
