Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Approximations for standard normal distribution function and its invertible
In this paper, we introduce a new approximation of the cumulative distribution function of the standard normal distribution based on Tocher's approximation.

Complexity issues for the symmetric interval eigenvalue problem
We study the problem of computing the maximal and minimal possible eigenvalues of a symmetric matrix when the matrix entries vary within compact intervals. In particular, we focus on computational complexity of determining these extremal eigenvalues with

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Efficient by Precision Algorithms for Approximating Functions from Some Classes by Fourier Series
Introduction. The problem of approximation can be considered as the basis of computational methods, namely, the approximation of individual functions or classes of functions by functions that are in some sense simpler than the functions being ...

Greedy Algorithms for Optimal Distribution Approximation
The approximation of a discrete probability distribution t by an M-type distribution p is considered. The approximation error is measured by the informational divergence D ( t ∥ p ) , which is an appropriate measure, e.g., in the ...

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Optimal with Respect to Accuracy Recovery of Some Classes Functions by Fourier Series
Introduction. Function approximation (approximation or restoration) is widely used in data analysis, model building, and forecasting. The goal of function approximation is to find the function that best approximates the original function.
