An Improved Algorithm for Apriori
2009 First International Workshop on Education Technology and Computer Science, 2009In this paper, we studied the Apriori Algorithm and its performance, which is used to mine association rules. The algorithm for reducing the size of the candidate-itemsets is optimized. Meanwhile, the performance of algorithm is improved to reduce I/O spending by cutting down unnecessary transaction records.
