A novel treatment of biogas digestate waste for biochar production and its adsorption of methylene blue and malachite green in a binary system

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, Volume 19, Issue 6, Page 1728-1745, November/December 2025.
Abstract This study presents a novel treatment of biogas digestate to produce biochar at processing temperatures of 500–700 °C. The resulting biochar was applied for the simultaneous removal of methylene blue (MB) and malachite green (MG) in a binary system.

A Simple Micellar Gold Catalyst Supported by a Hydrophilic Phosphinoferrocene Amidosulfonate Ligand

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 25, September 11, 2025.
A phosphinoferrocene amidosulfonate and its chlorogold complex form micelles in water. The complex can be used as a self‐activating Au catalyst, as demonstrated for the model cyclization of N‐propargyl benzamide into 4,5‐dihydro‐5‐methylene‐2‐phenyloxazole.

Fibrillar extracellular matrix produced by pericyte‐like cells facilitates glioma cell dissemination

open access: yesBrain Pathology, Volume 34, Issue 6, November 2024.
FAP+ pericyte‐like cells drive the deposition of fibrillar extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen I and fibronectin in glioblastoma, facilitating glioma cell dissemination and activation of focal adhesion kinase. Abstract Gliomagenesis induces profound changes in the composition of the extracellular matrix (ECM) of the brain.
