To enhance through‐thickness conductivity without sacrificing impregnation, large spherical graphite particles are intentionally employed in a low‐viscosity resin. Unlike finer conductive fillers, these particles remain outside the fiber bundles and accumulate in resin‐rich interlaminar regions during molding.

Extraction of plant polysaccharides often results in a large amount of proteins, which is hard to eliminate from the crude extract, and conventional approaches for deproteinization are time-consuming and often involve hazardous organic solvents.

Despite benefits to storage stability and handleability of aluminum scrap, octadecyl phosphonic acid (ODPA) SAMs reduce the tensile strength of wires produced using friction‐induced recycling. Etching and methyl diphosphonic acid (MDPA) coatings, however, have little effect.

New aqueous two phase system comprising polyethylene glycol and xanthan
A new aqueous two phase system comprising polyethylene glycol and xanthan is reported together with its phase diagram. The phase composition of the bottom phase did not vary (PEG 1.6–1.8% w/w; xanthan 0.24–0.28% w/w) while that of the top phase varied ...

A Multi‐Scale Machine Learning Framework for the Inverse Design of High Entropy Alloys
High‐entropy alloys offer vast potential for various applications, including electrocatalysis; however, their compositional complexity challenges conventional screening. We introduce an inverse‐design framework combining two neural networks to determine optimal compositions and reconstruct nanoparticle geometry from targeted properties and conventional

PUF/ENB microcapsules were synthesized based on a sequential factorial design and incorporated into an epoxy matrix. Their anticorrosive action, associated with the self‐healing mechanism, demonstrated that the addition of microcapsules to the coating improved anticorrosive performance compared to pure epoxy coatings, particularly when the encapsulate ...

Phase Behaviour Of Oat β-Glucan/Sodium Caseinate Mixtures [PDF]
Oat β-glucan is a water soluble polysaccharide which has been approved as a functional bioactive ingredient. In this thesis, β-glucan was successfully isolated from oat flour and samples of different molecular weights were produced.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
