Predictive, Data‐Driven Design of Red‐Light Photoredox Catalysts for C─Heteroatom Bond Formation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
From redox numbers to red light: Donor oxidation and core reduction potentials predict E0‐0 in cyanoarene dyes, guiding selection of an efficient red‐light catalyst, 4MeODPATPN (PC13). Under 620 nm light, PC13 facilitates Ni‐catalyzed C─heteroatom cross‐couplings (C─N, C─O, C─S) with high functional‐group tolerance and reduced hydrodehalogenation ...

The hidden diversity of Saudi Arabian Red Sea octocorals revealed through a morpho-molecular assessment across bathymetric and latitudinal gradients

open access: yesScientific Reports
Octocorals, a globally distributed class of Cnidaria, inhabit a wide range of environments, from cold to tropical waters and from shallow to deep-sea ecosystems. In the Red Sea, studies on octocoral diversity have mostly been focused on the Gulf of Aqaba

Trophic organization and predator prey interactions among commercially exploited demersal finfishes in the coastal waters of the Southeastern Arabian Sea [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Trophic interactions in commercially exploited demersal finfishes in the Southeastern Arabian Sea of India were studied to understand trophic organization with emphasis on ontogenic diet shifts within the marine food ...

Modeling and Characterization of a Self‐Sensing Soft Hydraulic Muscle

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article presents the self‐sensing soft hydraulic muscle (SSHM), a novel soft actuator capable of simultaneously sensing force and length without external sensors. A comprehensive model accurately predicts SSHM behavior, validated experimentally with minimal errors. Using propylene glycol enhances durability and reduces hysteresis.

Parents' WhatsApp coping resources in the context of ongoing political conflicts: An ecological exploration

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Mobile technologies have become significant resources for crisis communication and social support in recent years. However, despite empirical evidence pointing to the centrality of these technologies for parenthood in everyday life, it is yet unknown how parents' coping resources play a role in the digital environment.

South Asian monsoon history over the past 60 kyr recorded by radiogenic isotopes and clay mineral assemblages in the Andaman Sea [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The Late Quaternary variability of the South Asian (or Indian) monsoon has been linked with glacial‐interglacial and millennial scale climatic changes but past rainfall intensity in the river catchments draining into the Andaman Sea remains poorly ...

Arabian Sea Monsoon: Deep sea drilling in the Arabian Sea: Constraining tectonic-monsoon interactions in South Asia

open access: yes, 2015
The Arabian Sea in the northern Indian Ocean pre-serves regional sedimentary records of rifting, tectonic subsidence, and paleoceanographic history, and also provides archives of long-term erosion of the Himalaya since the start of collision between In?dia and Eurasia.
