Numerical evaluation of multiple polylogarithms

open access: yes, 2004
Multiple polylogarithms appear in analytic calculations of higher order corrections in quantum field theory. In this article we study the numerical evaluation of multiple polylogarithms.

A Fast Numerical Method for the Calculation of the Equilibrium Isotopic Composition of a Transmutation System in an Advanced Fuel Cycle

open access: yesScience and Technology of Nuclear Installations, 2012
A fast numerical method for the calculation in a zero-dimensional approach of the equilibrium isotopic composition of an iteratively used transmutation system in an advanced fuel cycle, based on the Banach fixed point theorem, is described in this paper.

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

SYNTHESIS OF QUASI BAND LADDER TRANSFORMING HIGH ORDER FILTERS

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
The purpose of the work, the results of which are presented in the article, was to develop a computerized mathematical model of the ladder filter to study the features of the synthesis of matching chains of any order on its basis.

Realizing arbitrary-precision modular multiplication with a fixed-precision multiplier datapath [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Within the context of cryptographic hardware, the term scalability refers to the ability to process operands of any size, regardless of the precision of the underlying data path or registers.

Schooling Trajectories and the Development of Brain Dynamics: A Comparative Study of Montessori and Traditional Education

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

Calibration‐Free Electromyography Motor Intent Decoding Using Large‐Scale Supervised Pretraining

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Calibration‐free electromyography motor intent decoding is enabled through large‐scale supervised pretraining across heterogeneous datasets. A Spatially Aware Feature‐learning Transformer processes variable channel counts and electrode geometries, allowing transfer across users and recording setups. On a held‐out benchmark, fine‐tuned cross‐user models

Multiple precision evaluation of the Airy Ai function with reduced cancellation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The series expansion at the origin of the Airy function Ai(x) is alternating and hence problematic to evaluate for x > 0 due to cancellation. Based on a method recently proposed by Gawronski, M\"uller, and Reinhard, we exhibit two functions F and G, both
