Geometric algorithms rely on predicates, among them, the 2D and 3D orientation and incircle tests are important ones. Shewchuk's adaptive floating-point predicate is a well-known C implementation, which is embedded in many computational geometry ...

Certified lattice reduction [PDF]
Quadratic form reduction and lattice reduction are fundamental tools in computational number theory and in computer science, especially in cryptography. The celebrated Lenstra-Lenstra-Lov\'asz reduction algorithm (so-called LLL) has been improved in many

SYNTHESIS OF QUASI BAND LADDER TRANSFORMING HIGH ORDER FILTERS
The purpose of the work, the results of which are presented in the article, was to develop a computerized mathematical model of the ladder filter to study the features of the synthesis of matching chains of any order on its basis.

Electric potential and field calculation of charged BEM triangles and rectangles by Gaussian cubature [PDF]
It is a widely held view that analytical integration is more accurate than the numerical one. In some special cases, however, numerical integration can be more advantageous than analytical integration.

In high-throughput applications, low-complexity and low-latency channel decoders are inevitable. Hence, for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes, message passing decoding has to be implemented with coarse quantization—that is, the exchanged ...

Acceleration of Complex Matrix Multiplication Using Arbitrary Precision Floating-Point Arithmetic
Efficient multiple precision linear numerical computation libraries such as MPLAPACK are critical in dealing with ill-conditioned problems. Specifically, there are optimization methods for matrix multiplication, such as the Strassen algorithm and the Ozaki scheme, which can be used to speed up computation.

Numerical evaluation of multiple polylogarithms
Multiple polylogarithms appear in analytic calculations of higher order corrections in quantum field theory. In this article we study the numerical evaluation of multiple polylogarithms.

Multiple precision evaluation of the Airy Ai function with reduced cancellation [PDF]
The series expansion at the origin of the Airy function Ai(x) is alternating and hence problematic to evaluate for x > 0 due to cancellation. Based on a method recently proposed by Gawronski, M\"uller, and Reinhard, we exhibit two functions F and G, both

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.
