Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

From Single Atoms to Nanoparticles: Pathways Toward Efficient and Durable Pt/TiO2 Photocatalysts
Platinum single atoms on TiO2 nanosheets evolve into clusters and nanoparticles under ethanol photoreforming and thermal treatments. By controlling deposition and post‐treatments, particle size and location on specific facets are modulated. The study reveals how stability pathways determine efficiency, guiding the design of more durable photocatalysts.

This study presents a versatile approach to harnessing miscible aqueous domains, enabling liquid‐in‐liquid compartmentalization using a barrier formed in situ rather than bulk immiscibility. The barrier forms upon the complexation of multifunctional nanoparticles and ligands at the contact boundary of aqueous phases.

Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

Arcs, Caps and Generalisations in a Finite Projective Space
Arcs and caps are fundamental structures in finite projective spaces. They can be generalised. Here, a survey is given of some important results on these objects, in particular on generalised ovals and generalised ovoids.

Analysis of Arc Stability of Plasma Main Arc and Inter-Wire Arc in Skew-Coupling Arc Welding
By adjusting the inter-wire arc (IWA) posture, the skew-coupling arc (SCA) is proposed to address the polar effect in the cross arc, enabling decoupling control of heat, force, and mass transfer. Despite the advancement, the arc stabilization mechanism in the SCA remains poorly understood, hindering its application as a heat source in welding or ...
