Atomically Modulating Competing Exchange Interactions in Centrosymmetric Skyrmion Hosts GdRu2X2 (X = Si and Ge)

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Our work bridges the gap between skyrmion discovery and material design by demonstrating how atomic‐scale control of exchange interactions enables tunable skyrmion phase transitions in centrosymmetric magnetic metals. ABSTRACT Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected spin states that hold promise for shaping the future of electronics.

Hybrid Heterostructures of Nanostructured Si Membrane and MoS2 for Self‐Powered Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable MoS2/Si nanomesh vertical heterostructure is developed for self‐powered photodetection. The nanostructured junction enhances conductivity, expands the active heterointerface, and enables a transition from photovoltaic to avalanche‐assisted operation, delivering markedly improved photoresponse over planar counterparts.

Stabilizing Magnesium Anodes in Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries via Fluorinated Cyclic Ether Electrolyte Additive

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A fluorinated cyclic ether, FDOL, is shown to stabilize Mg metal anodes by tuning Mg2+ solvation of the G2 electrolyte. The G2‐FDOL electrolyte suppresses passivation and thick, diffusion‐blocking Mg deposits, enabling more uniform Mg plating/stripping and sustained interfacial reactions.

Regularización de Tikhonov para estimar los parámetros de un modelo de un horno de arco

open access: yesTecnura, 2013
In this paper, we present a methodology for estimating the parameters of a model for an electrical arc furnace by using Tikhonov regularization. Tikhonov regularization is one of the most widely employed methods for regularization. The model proposed for

Detecting Outliers in Electric Arc Furnace under the Condition of Unlabeled, Imbalanced, Non-stationary and Noisy Data

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2018
The presence of outliers is the main reason leading to ineffectiveness of advanced data-driven control methods in electric arc furnace systems. This paper proposes a hybrid method dedicated to detecting outliers in electric arc furnace systems, where ...

An Indicator‐Based Decision Framework for Circular Bioeconomy Transition in the Steel Industry: Integrating Multiphase Learning and Cooperative Game Modelling

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Despite growing attention to the circular bioeconomy (CBE), the steel industry currently lacks a standardised, sectoral measurement framework to facilitate a low‐carbon transition. In this study, a decision‐support framework for evaluating CBE performance in the steel industry is proposed.
