In lymphoid organs, antigen recognition and B cell receptor signaling rely on integrins and the cytoskeleton. Integrins act as mechanoreceptors, couple B cell receptor activation to cytoskeletal remodeling, and support immune synapse formation as well as antigen extraction.

ANALYTICAL MODEL OF THE BEHAVIOUR A MASONRY STRUCTURE REINFORCED WITH COMPOSITE MATERIALS
The paper presents an attempt to describe and adapt models of work of masonry structures subjected to reinforcement treatments with composite materials. The formation of a particular failure model is related to the type of reinforcement and its location (

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Behaviour of load-carrying members of velodromes’ long-span steel roof
Long-span roofs have been of an increased interest within the last sixty years. An arch-type steel roof of velodrome with the maximum span, height, and length equal to 109.50, 23.07, and 126.00 m respectively, is considered as the object of the current ...

The Generalized STAR Modeling with Heteroscedastic Effects
In general, the Generalized Space Time Autoregressive (GSTAR) model of space-time assumes constant error variance. In this study, a GSTAR model was built with an error variance that was not constant or had a heteroscedasticity effect, namely the ...

The roles and applications of extracellular vesicles in cancer
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are minute versions of cells limited by a lipid bilayer containing cytoplasm from the cell that releases them, but without a nucleus and thus unable to self‐reproduce. EVs contain multiple molecules (proteins, lipids, glycans, and nucleic acids) they can induce complex responses in cells.

Natural vibrations of curved nano-beams and nano-arches [PDF]
The natural vibrations of curved nano-beams and nano-arches are studied. The nano-arches under consideration have piece-wise constant thickness; these are weakened with stable cracks located at-entrant corners of the steps. A method of determination of natural frequencies is developed making use of the method of weightless rotating spring.
