2021This project was a detailed analysis of lidar imaging to record potential archaeological features whether already known or newly recorded using freely accessible data and software. QGIS freeware was used to record the findings and the RAW lidar data was sourced primarily from the Environment Agency.

Archaeometry, 1988Cross correlation is a simple numerical calculation that involves two different data sets and enables a comparison to be made between them. This method is presented as an aid to finding the location of specific archaeological features in magnetic data. A simple example to locate a kiln target is given, and its probable depth estimated.
