An Ontology-Based Semantics for the Motivation Extension to ArchiMate

2011 IEEE 15th International Enterprise Distributed Object Computing Conference, 2011
The “motivation domain‿ of an Enterprise Architecture addresses objectives in a broad scope ranging from high-level statements expressing the goals of an enterprise to declarations of requirements on business processes, services and systems. An important development regarding the incorporation of the motivation domain in a comprehensive Enterprise ...

Archimed software demonstration

2004
Archimed is a simulation software being currently wrapped within the Alea computer platform. The Archimed purpose is first to simulate radiative transfers within 3D virtual stands composed of "architectural" plant mock-ups or geometrical crown shapes. Two models are implemented, using respectively the ray-tracing and the Z-buffer methods.

An Approach to Assure Dependability Through ArchiMate

2015
This paper describes a method to create assurance cases for the Open Dependability through Assuredness (O-DA) standard of The Open Group (TOG) based on ArchiMate. ArchiMate provides Enterprise Architecture (EA) models to describe Business, Application and Technology Architectures.

Enterprise Architecture: An Alternative to ArchiMate Conceptualization

2017
ArchiMate is a modeling language developed to provide a uniform representation of enterprise architecture descriptions. It visualizes the different architecture domains and their underlying relationships and dependencies. Many organizations are already using it as the standard for describing enterprise architecture.

Automated Enterprise-Level Analysis of ArchiMate Models

2014
Around the world, Enterprise Architecture (EA) practices are been formed in large and medium companies that see in IT either a competitive advantage or a requirement for survival. These EA practices produce models that conceptualize the enterprise, and are commonly used only for communication purposes.

On the Heterogeneity of Enterprise Models: ArchiMate and Troux Semantics

2014 IEEE 18th International Enterprise Distributed Object Computing Conference Workshops and Demonstrations, 2014
Enterprise Architecture Management relies on information from different management levels, functional areas and for example in case of holdings or mergers from different organizations. This results in a variety of tools, models, and model schemata that cover EAM aspects. At the same time, there is a desire for interchangeability and reuse of EA models.
